Despite its active activity in „Youth Union “, the schoolboy has never been among the leaders of the avant -garde. Meanwhile, his work reflected the essential features of the avant -garde movement as a whole. This applies, first of all, to the coloristic search for the artist, to the emphasized decorativeness of his picturesque manner, to enthusiasm for folk art, characteristic of many other artists of this circle.
