The picture was written shortly after the artist’s foreign trip, when he came from Russia to France and Italy to see the treasures of world art. "Fishing schooner" testified to significant changes in the creative consciousness of the artist. In this work in the picturesque manner of the artist, the influence of classical painting with cubism and futurism is amazingly combined.
